Joel has had years of experience teaching from one-on-one lessons, to group classes, and video tutorials (Joel is a featured instructor at guitartricks.com). He is highly trained, having graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. He has studied with such instructors as Jamey Bellizzi (Classical/Composition), Sandro Albert (Jazz), and the renown Jean Marc Belkadi in many styles, as well as being a working professional in the performance arts and studio music/composition/production arenas.
Whether you are seeking to simply learn a few new chops or desire to dive head (and hands!) first into the lifelong joyous process and take lessons full time, Joel is open to all kinds of arrangements that leave your needs fulfilled!
Style is irrelevant! Joel loves to play all styles of guitar and can give you tools to play whatever you want to learn! From rock to blues, from funk to r&b, pop’n hip hop, from finger style acoustic to Spanish/Brazilian style and on it goes!!
Lessons are taught at his home studio location in Hollywood or online via webcam!
Lessons are $50 an hour or $35 a half-hour.
